Zillow's film was not a room-to-room property tour. Its hardest sequences moved directly around—and into—swimming pools at night.

For Love Song, director Daniel Wolfe and cinematographer Diego García, Andriu FPV developed a dedicated water-capable camera system, testing waterproofing, balance and recovery so the transition between air and water could happen for real rather than be simulated.

The Challenge

Multiple sequences interacted directly with swimming pools, including a shot that required the camera system to enter the water. Night work above and around water reduced visibility and increased the cost of any failure. A standard cinema FPV platform could not safely deliver every requested transition, so the technical challenge extended beyond piloting into system design.

Our Approach

We developed a dedicated water-capable setup for the immersion work and used the protected RAW platform for the close aerial sequences. Testing focused on waterproofing, balance, recovery and the visual behaviour of the transition between air and water. The custom solution allowed the camera to move between environments in a way that conventional drones could not reproduce.
