Mercedes-AMG, The All-New AMG GT
Tempomedia's film for the new Mercedes-AMG GT put several performance cars into a dust-heavy pursuit across Almería's desert roads.
Andriu FPV built the aerial work around three distinct tools: RAW FPV for the hardest action, an FPV gimbal for stabilised movement and Inspire 3 for the wider geography, all coordinated with the precision drivers at speeds around 100 km/h.
The Challenge
The campaign placed several high-performance cars in desert and road environments with heavy dust, pursuit speeds around 100 km/h and close multi-vehicle choreography. Dust threatened motors, lenses and image consistency, while the shot design moved between aggressive pursuit, stabilized close work and broad aerial geography.
Our Approach
We built a dedicated aerial unit around three complementary platforms. RAW FPV handled the most dynamic action, the FPV gimbal system delivered stabilized moving perspectives and the Inspire 3 covered larger cinematic compositions with a dedicated camera operator. Careful coordination between pilot, operator and precision drivers allowed the visual language to stay premium even in a hostile environment.
