Sprinter 4x4
Mercedes-Benz filmed the Sprinter 4x4 in Austrian snow at temperatures close to −20°C, from mountain roads to fast night lines between pine trees.
Cold reduced usable battery time by roughly a third and stripped the forest of visual reference. Andriu FPV adapted battery rotation and warm storage, memorised the routes before dark and used the snow-covered trees as depth rather than merely as hazards.
The Sprinter was filmed in deep snow at temperatures close to -20°C, across mountain roads, forest sections and night sequences. The cold cut usable battery time by roughly a third and affected electronics and handling, while snow and low light reduced contrast and visual references. Following a large vehicle at speed between pines left little room for drift or delayed response.
We adapted battery rotation, warm storage and equipment handling to the extreme cold, and studied the forest lines before the night work. The flight paths used the snow-covered pines as foreground and depth rather than treating them only as hazards. This created immersive images that demonstrated the vehicle's capability while preserving a strong sense of place.
