Turbo 3E

The campaign was shot at night on the 3.85-kilometre Circuito del Jarama with limited visibility and a major virtual element: a wall or trail of fire that would later compete with the car in VFX. Every real camera move had to respect the position, scale and timing of something invisible on set, while the drone held within roughly two metres of the drifting car. The production also required repeatable high-speed lines around the circuit, despite fatigue and the reduced spatial awareness that comes with night operation.

We scouted the circuit extensively in daylight, scanned the track and its curves for 3D reconstruction, and rehearsed the invisible fire choreography before the night work began. We also designed a custom rig that allowed the FPV drone to launch from a moving car. Reversing the shot created the illusion that the drone flew toward the vehicle and landed on its window, a transition captured in just two takes that became one of the project's signature moments.
