Renault's Megane E-Tech campaign moved from city and beach driving to choreography measured in centimetres around performers.

For Eddy and directors BICEP, Andriu FPV used cinema FPV for the car work and a protected platform for the human-scale moves, including a pass beneath a young skater's legs while she ground a rail—captured in two takes after careful incremental rehearsal.

The Challenge

The campaign combined city driving, a highly specific beach launch sequence and extremely close choreography around performers. One of the most demanding shots sent a small protected drone through the gap beneath the legs of a young skater, well under half a metre of clearance, while she ground along a rail. The movement had to align with her timing perfectly and remain safe enough to repeat.

Our Approach

We separated the work by platform: cinema FPV for the vehicle and larger visual statements, protected FPV for human-scale interactions. The beach sequence was reverse-engineered from the directors' exact reference, while the skating shot was rehearsed in small increments and then captured in just two takes once talent and drone shared the same rhythm. Several resulting images later circulated as references in new commercial treatments.
